Beach Houses Built for Oregon's Coast

Custom beach homes designed for salt air, coastal storms, and stunning ocean views.
Beach house construction on Oregon’s coast isn’t like building anywhere else. The environment is demanding: salt-laden air corrodes lesser materials, wind drives rain sideways, and the very reason you’re building here—that incredible view—requires careful design to capture fully. At Ocean Breeze Homes, we’ve spent 30 years mastering coastal construction, and it shows in every beach house we build.
The Challenge
You Want a Beach House That Lasts
Building on the coast without coastal expertise leads to expensive problems.
You've found an incredible property near the ocean. You can already imagine morning coffee with that view. But you've heard stories about coastal homes that deteriorate quickly—corroded fixtures, weather damage, constant repairs. You need a builder who truly understands beach house construction, not one who'll apply inland methods to a coastal environment.

Our Approach
Beach House Construction Starts With the Environment
We design around Oregon's coastal conditions from day one.
Before floor plans, we study your site. Coastal properties come with considerations inland lots don't: setback requirements from the ocean, vegetation protection zones, view corridors, and sometimes complex access. We start by understanding exactly what your site allows and what it offers. Then we design for the environment. Large windows oriented to capture views while managing glare and heat gain. Covered outdoor spaces that extend your living area through Oregon's variable weather. Material selections that age gracefully in salt air. Every decision considers the coastal context.
